Passengers jumping or falling off cruise ships accidentally is something that isn't as infrequent as one might assume. TravelersToday previously reported In September, a Florida woman fell off a cruise ship and went missing. The 21-year-old was on a Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas ship 47 miles from Fort Lauderdale, Florida when she fell off the ship.
In February another incident of a British man falling off an Allure of the Seas ship on its way to Cozumel, Mexico was reported. The man was noticed missing after he did not respond to pages from cruise ship personel.
