Following the "Final Fantasy 15" 1.03 update, gamers discovered a huge unused area which made them wonder what it is for. The glitch happened after the game's 1.03 update. Said portion was previously inaccessible but after the glitch, players managed to explore it.
Said portion is in Nilfheim including a spacious land around Cartanica Station, Eusciello, a snowy area on the train. Aside from that, the area where Prompto falls from the train is also revealed along with Pagla, where Noct is seen on top of a train while talking to Ignis on the phone, iDigital Times reported.
Since a large portion can now be accessed, many videos emerged on YouTube showing the space. One YouTube user, Fotm Hero posted an hour long video wherein his character started running from Cartanic. He then moved to Eusciello, Pagla, and Tenebrae.
According to the video's description, only Cartanica can fully load. The rest of the areas result into infinite loading once accessed. Fotm Hero also added that he is trying to find a way to glitch directly from Tenebrae or Gralea.
It is noted that most part of the areas that were made accessible through the glitch is flat. There are also many polished details in it like trees, passing cars and others. Gamers are saying that the unusual amount of details in the area could be an indication of a future DLC because it would be pointless to work on that part if it will not be utilized.
But it is not the only outcome of the glitch. It also allowed players to explore Insomnia faster. After fighting with the final boss, a player can just free-float into the world instead of running or walking towards it.
In a recent news, it appears that the fan's speculation for a DLC is indeed happening. In an interview with Japanese magazine Famitsu, "Final Fantasy 15" director Hajime Tabata hinted an expansion DLC for the game. GameRant reveals that aside from reworking on the game's chapter 13 and the episodes of the Season Pass, Tabata described plans for updates and DLCs. "Final Fantasy 15" is currently available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
