Apple is expected to announce the new version of the iPad at a media event on Tuesday Oct. 23. Rumors have been swirling for months that the announcement will be for the "iPad mini" with a smaller display screen as well as other new features.

Fox News reported that the iPad screen will probably be a 7.85 inch non-Retina screen.

Techradar.com says that the release date is still not known but "rumors seem to suggest the iPad Mini release date will be before Christmas." Analyst Shaw Wu said to techradar.com that the "exact timing" for its release date "is difficult to predict".
Price
