Halloween is coming soon and young kids across the country cannot wait to show off their costumes and collect candy while trick-or-treating. While the concept of trick-or-treating may seem pretty simple, some actually create special strategies to ensure that they get the most and best candy. While kids focus on getting a good loots, parents are concerned with their children's safety. To address both of these factors, real estate website Zillow.com created a list of the Top 20 Best Cities for Trick-Or-Treating.

Some may think that the wealthier neighborhoods may give the most and best candy, but to avoid this stereotype, Zillow took more factors into consideration to determine which cities are the best for trick-or-treating. They determined the best cities by looking at the Zillow Home Value Index, population density, Walk Score, which takes city pollution into consideration, and local crime data. Together, these factors were able to help Zillow determine which cities provide "the most candy to trick-or-treaters, with the least walking and safety risks."

Zillow has been creating this list for four years. San Francisco has taken the top spot for the second year in a row. For those who want to focus on a specific neighborhood, Zillow also released a list of the top neighborhoods to trick-or-treat in.
