There Is Possibly A Lost City In Antarctica On A phot Taken By Google Earth

A Google Earth photo of the middle of Eastern Antarctica has flickered statements of indication that the frozen continent has once had a living civilization. The image depicts an oval-shaped structure that hyped up conspiracy theorists.

Pictures disclosed by Nasa from its IceBridge ice-mapping mission generated claims evidence for this lost civilization had been found. According to World News Daily, Ashoka Tripathi of the Department of Archaeology at the University of Calcutta remarked that the images presented clear evidence of an ancient human settlement underneath the ice sheet in Antarctica. He added that these are evidently features of a human-made structure, similar to some sort of pyramidal structure.

Furthermore, Tripathi noted that the patterns, not the thing expected from natural geomorphological formations caused by nature. Tripathi added that though there is now a clear evidence of human engineering, he is puzzled as well since the photos were taken in Antarctica underneath two kilometers of ice. Another bizarre theory appeared last year, claiming that a mysterious pyramid in the Antarctic had surfaced. This time it was from a YouTube channel under the name Third Phase of the Moon. The channel frequently posts conspiracy theories on aliens. It even uploaded a video where it showed a pyramid-like structure in the snow, with a Google Earth-type label and pin.

Nigel Watson, the author of the UFO Investigations Manual, told Daily Mail that photos of the pyramid structures are either photoshopped or cropped pictures to make the mountains appear more like pyramids. Several of these are simply pictures of natural formations called nunataks. According to Watson, nunataks are just mountainous formations made by erosion and shifting glaciers and not by alien technology. Furthermore, he was quoted saying that people are always mystified about pyramid structures. He added that in 1970's there were claims that pyramids could preserve food, and even keep razors sharp.
