In a recent interview, British supermodel Naomi Campbell shared her life-threatening attack from robbers in Paris. The 46-year-old said she what she underwent was a terrifying ordeal.
According to the E! News, the iconic model and actress told the Wendy Williams Show that in 2012, she took a plane from Switzerland to Paris and didn't call security because it was just a quick trip to visit fashion designer Azzedine Alaïa. The incident happened outside Alaïa's shop.
She said that she didn't want to make the issue so public but robbers followed her from the airport and attacked her. "They opened my car door and said, 'Naomi Campbell, we're going to kill you," Campbell recalled. She said it was weird that when she went to the car, it wasn't her normal driver and he had the windows rolled down despite the freezing cold November weather.
Campbell said the driver was in on it. The attackers swooped on her and demanded her bag, Daily Mail reported. She said that she had to decide in a split moment whether to let the guy take her bag with all her passports or if she should fight for it. She decided to not let go of her bag.
The supermodel added that she sympathized with what happened to Kim Kardashian and that she felt for her right away. Campbell said that she hated hearing stories that what happened to Kim wasn't true. It can be remembered that Kim was robbed of £5.2million worth of jewellery by several men wearing police uniforms.
"It was absolutely true and it happened to me, and it's happened to a few other people-but it's not for me to say-who are well-known also." Campbell also said that her Paris attackers could be the same criminals who attacked the Kardashian Wests.
