Travel Tips: Traveling The World On An Empty Pocket? Here’s How You Do It

There is only one major thing that a person must have in able to achieve his goal, and it's called determination. If this year's goal is to travel the globe, one must have the determination to do it.

Traveling is not just something cheap, though. Owning the fact that there has got to be traveling expenses such as - the meals, the transportations, the place to stay in and the like. However, there are some who are fully determined to see the beauty of the world, whether with a full or an empty pocket. There are some who are and have crossed countries to countries with nothing but for the love of seeing how amazing the world is.

Laura Bingham, for instance, who cycled 7,000km across South America, had not only seen the beauty of mother-nature but also the kindness and generosity of strangers. Bingham stated that while she was trying to travel the world through cycling, she also met the most wonderful and kind people on earth and it shocked her that there are actually people like this that still exists.

Since she had no money and only had her bike, her rain jacket (that she used as a pillow) and some motivational videos that she downloaded; she was often offered food (lots of them) and a safe place to stay in for the night by strangers.

Rob Greenfield, who challenged himself on a 72-day money-free travel from Brazil to Panama, Rob stated that when he arrived in Brazil, he had nothing - not even a solid plan. He just went on with the challenge and tried to learn how to survive daily. Like Bingham, Rob also hung on his money-free traveling on strangers' kindness and generosity that offered him a ride to places (he hitch-hiked a lot.)

His tip was to bring a tent, water purifier, cooking equipment and comfortable clothes. He also said that the best way to survive is to not expect anything and keep a curious and open mind. Tune in on Travelers Today for more travel tips and guides.
