Brad Pitt's Christmas this year is far from perfect. It was his worst in years. He cried many times and was not ashamed to do it anymore. Aside from losing his wife, he also lost the physical presence of his kids. He is not satisfied with the occasional visits he is allowed to.
His request for a prolonged time with his kids has been turned down as suggested by the therapists. Friends of the "Allied" actor shared that this was his worst Christmas. An insider, according to Mirror, said that, "He desperately misses having his kids with him for Christmas and New Year." The insider added, "He's broken down in tears so many times - he's not ashamed to cry anymore. Brad is like a broken man."
Brad Pitt's Christmas alone is too much for him as he is used to pamper with kids with gifts during the holiday. The divorce has been taking its toll on the actor specifically with his emotional state. He was deeply affected when private information about the kids was divulged in public because of the custody cases.
The actor's lawyers filed a memorandum in court on December 21 airing his side as to why he wants information about the divorce and the custody of their six children hidden from the public. He accuses Angelina Jolie of jeopardizing their children's privacy and compromises their welfare according to TMZ.
Superior Los Angeles Court Judge Richard Burdge, Jr. did not rule out sealing relevant documents especially those pertaining to the couple's children. This week, lawyers (the couple failed to attend the hearing) for both sides submitted information through emails that shed light on the intensifying dispute involving visitation rights to the six children.
On the last week of November, Pitt's lawyers made a request in court that the "Troy" actor be allowed longer visits for December. However, the "Maleficent" actress denied the request. Her lawyer Laura Wasser declared that Pitt and his team of lawyers are ignoring the decision of the therapists that protects the welfare of the kids.
Jolie wants to have the sole physical custody of the children. The court hearing is scheduled this January 2017. How will the court rules on the custody fight between the Hollywood A-list former couple? Will Brad Pitt's Christmas next year be a brighter and happier one? Only the court can decide on his fate.
