Apple Watch Series 3: Why The Reported Improvements Aren't Turning Heads

For Apple aficionados, the upcoming Apple Watch Series 3 is nothing but good news. This is the case for those who might have missed the second entry in the product line. However, not a lot of people and even a number of long-time fans are impressed.

According to a recent report, care of Redmondpie, Apple is about to roll out yet another update to the popular wearable device called the Apple Watch. This time, it would be the third series and it is expected to be coming out in 2017's third quarter.

However, as reported on the print edition of Economic Daily News (via BGR), Apple seems to be only focusing on greatly improving the battery life. Not much has been said with integrating new and innovative features with the upcoming Apple Watch Series 3 or technically none at all.

Still, some information are to be taken as a grain of salt as Apple haven't made any official announcement in the matter, particularly the features. If Apple, however, follows its usual schedule in releasing and making major announcements for upcoming devices, September would be anybody's best bet.

Several online communities, blogs and fan reactions have started creeping out of the internet, stressing a major disappointment with Apple's focus on improving what seems to be already adequate. Some even think that the company is trying to fix what isn't broken and entirely missing the opportunity if actually pouring all the efforts to make the Apple Watch Series 3 faster.

On the flipside, a greatly improved battery performance may also hint a faster performance as these two features usually go hand in hand. This could make way for better CPUs with faster processing time and response.

Holding a charge for two days is enough and going beyond it isn't what people seems to be asking for. A faster Apple Watch Series 3, however, is an entirely different story and this could be just the gist of what Apple has in store for the consumers.
