Michael Weatherly Reflects On ‘NCIS’ Exit; Shares Hope On ‘Bulls’

"NCIS" star Michael Weatherly has bid farewell to the show that he has participated into for 13 years. It is not an easy decision to leave the show he has done for more than one decade.

He has shared his feelings when his exit was still raw from the show. He said, "I want to say that wherever I go, whatever men's room, restaurant, or airport I find myself in, you're there too. You're with me. Sometimes it's appropriate, sometimes it's not appropriate at all. But I always love it, because I am the No. 1 fan of NCIS."

The actor who played Tony DiNozzo said that he has experienced both sadness and happiness in the show. He also felt anger and hunger and added that one thing he did not experience is being bored. The main reason why he "left" NCIS was because he has to choose family duties. He has to take care of his kid with Ziva played by Cote de Pablo.

Being Michael Weatherly, he misses the camaraderie on the show as he admits; there are no dull moments on the set according to Cinema Blend.

After his exit from the show, he started working for "Bulls" where he plays the title role of Dr. Jason Bulls. It is a comedy-drama based on the early days of talk show host Phil McGraw when he was a trial consultant. It premiered on Sept. 20, 2016. On October 17, 2016, CBS ordered for a full 22-episode.

The show is doing well slowly gaining a legion of fans. This is not hard as Michael Weatherly has already huge followers. It is composed of Freddy Rodriguez, Geneva Carr, Annabell Attanasio, Christopher Jackson, and Jamie Lee Kirchner.

Michael Weatherly has no regrets leaving NCIS to portray a role in "Bulls." Despite personal difficulties of being away from his wife and family on location shootings, Weatherly aims to provide balance in his life as per TVLine.
