The Note 7 was once of the most iconic handset from Samsung, but it wasn't all too good when it became popular for being the most faulty handset that had to be pulled out from the market completely. The Korean giant will finally let the public know the explanation behind its fiery nature.
A recent report from Korea Herald outlines Samsung Electronics Co. and the South Korean government with their official investigation result regarding the Note 7's problem. This was after the company have requested the US-Based safety organization to track down the exact cause of the handset model's bursting problem.
According to another report from BGR, the announcement is likely to be made this coming Jan. 10th or possibly, even by the last week of January. The likelihood of this happening was made possible with the collaboration work with KTL (Korea Testing Laboratory.)
Experts say that despite the pullout of the particular product from the global market, Samsung still owes the customers an official explanation of the underlying problem that prevented the device from following the success of its predecessors. This is to remove the ill-taste before the release of the supposedly Galaxy S8 around April of 2017.
Vice Chairman and CEO of Samsung, Kwon Oh-Yun also mentioned in an earlier speech in Monday that the company is in need to "transform" itself after a costly mistake with the Note 7. Moving forward, the Korean giant is looking forward to avoid the same mistake and the end-result of this lesson needs to be evident with its next handset.
Sources also revealed that the Korean government will also take all the necessary steps to prevent the same incidents. This is not limited to just Samsung with its Note 7, but to every gadget in potential risk with the same fiery accident after some miscalculations in engineering.
