Angelina Jolie took time off from the Colorado slopes with her 10-year-old daughter Shiloh and the eight-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox for ice-cream. Their holiday trip comes after Brad Pitt's request to have their divorce documents sealed.
The Daily Mail reports that Jolie rented a $4 million luxury home for the trip. The home features six bedrooms, enough for all her kids, and a private path that allowed Jolie and her kids to ski directly from the slopes to the chalet.
But Jolie took some time off from the slopes and opted to explore the resort. She took Shiloh and the twins Vivienne and Knox for ice-cream. The report said that the "Maleficent" actress looks "picture perfect" with her kids as they walked along the streets.
Jolie and her kids visited the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory to have some hot chocolate and ice cream to take out. Jolie, though, just opted for coffee.
The group then proceeded to a toy store near the factory to some shopping. The report adds that Jolie and her kids appear to be taking a break from skiing, after having spent their morning hitting the slopes.
Absent in the trip is Jolie's ex-husband Brad Pitt, who reportedly told one of his closest friends that this has been "the worst holiday season" of his life. Pitt is only allowed supervised visits with his children.
The "World War Z" actor reportedly visited his children in Los Angeles on Christmas Day. He only met five of them, though, as the eldest Maddox, 15, didn't want to see him.
The holiday trip to Colorado also comes a week after Pitt filed a motion to have their divorce documents sealed, according to Entertainment Tonight. The actor accused Jolie of disregarding the "privacy rights" of their children "when she believes it may benefit her."
Pitt claims that Jolie has "no self-regulation mechanism to preclude sensitive information from being placed in the public record." Sources though told Daily Mail that Jolie was surprised with the recent move and she said it "made no sense."
Jolie also believed the legal move was just a press move on the part of Pitt as the source also said the actress had already signed a deal agreeing to have the documents sealed. Check out the coverage of Pitt's request for an emergency hearing to have their divorce documents sealed.
