Ashley Greene is now engaged. The "Twilight" actress confirmed her engagement through a post on her Instagram account. In the picture which she posted on Friday, the actress proudly showed off the engagement ring given to her by Paul Khoury and even gushed over how beautiful it was. In addition to the photo, the actress also posted an Instagram video of the momentous occasion.
"This is the most beautiful moment that I could have ever hoped for. You've successfully made the happiest woman alive", Greene wrote on the caption of the proposal video posted on her Instagram account. Khoury responded with a post of his own on his Instagram account promising to put a smile on his fiancé's face for the rest of their lives.
The two stars have been dating since 2013 and have mostly kept quiet about their engagement until now, but they have been pretty active in posting photos of their trips to Australia and New Zealand on their Instagram accounts. It was also quite fitting because the couple was hiking towards the bottom of an area known as the Bridal Veil Falls in New Zealand prior to Paul Khoury popping the question.
Rumors of the couple's engagement first arose when Greene was seen wearing what looked like an engagement ring when they attended an event together. However, Greene was quick to dismiss these rumors by clarifying that the ring she was wearing at the time was not an engagement ring, but a Cartier love ring given to her as a gift by Khoury.
The Twilight actress had revealed in the past what she was looking for in a partner. In a report posted by US Weekly, she mentioned how she wanted to find someone who could make her a better version of herself. "I need someone who is strong, but supportive and who loves me - someone who isn't afraid to call me on my misgivings", she said.
