'Surface Pro 5' News: Tablet Expected To Be Better Than Surface Pro 4

When it comes to smartphones, Microsoft is not exactly the most popular name in the market. However, computers are a different story as everyone knows that Microsoft can deliver when it comes to these machines.

As a matter of fact, the company's Surface division has been doing pretty well in the laptop and tablet market. Even their most recent PC has given some rave reviews, which goes to show that Microsoft is one of the best when it comes to computers.

This is the reason why many people are already anticipating the "Surface Pro 5" to be one of the best tablets in the market once it gets released. Microsoft was able to deliver the goods with the "Surface Pro 4" when it was released in 2015, as reviewed by CNET, so consumers can pretty much expect the "Surface Pro 5" to be just as good - if not better - than its predecessor.

What's also interesting is that Microsoft did not release the "Surface Pro 5" a year after the release of the "Surface Pro 4." But then again, they didn't even have to because the "Surface Pro 4" is still a pretty competitive tablet in its own right. When the fifth Surface Pro gets released, it is expected to have specs that are going to be superior to its competition.

The "Surface Pro 4" alone already has specs that are considered to be way above that of an ordinary tablet. Rumors have also suggested that the Surface Pro 5 will have PC-level processors designed by Intel. Needless to say, the fifth Surface Pro is expected to be a PC-level tablet primary because of its internals.

As far as its features go, consumers can probably expect Microsoft to add something we have never seen before, just like they have done with their previous Surface Pro releases. According to Tech Times, the tablet could come equipped with a Kaby Lake processor and have a variant capable of 4K display.

It is also speculated that its RAM could be as much as 16 GB. However, Microsoft has been pretty quiet about their upcoming tablet and the info that we do have about it is mostly from rumors and insider reports. As far as its release date goes, it is expected to be around the same time as the upcoming Creators update for Windows 10, which is scheduled to be released during Spring 2017.
