In celebration of Epcot's 30th anniversary Walt Disney World is treating guests with a number of special offerings on Monday Oct. 1.
The park is treating visitors to a special informational session about the history of Epcot which is a behind the scenes look at the park's history.
Epcot is one of for theme parks at Walt Disney World in Orlando and is a 300 acre park divided into Future World and World Showcase. World Showcase features 11 countries including Mexico, China, Germany, Norway, Canada, Japan, Morocco, France, United Kingdom and the U.S.
The World Showplace is where the discussion of the park's history will take place and Mariachi Cobre and Voices of Liberty will host performaces at 3 p.m. at the American Gardens Theatre. At 4:30 and 6:30 Marty Sklar, former Walt Disney Company's International Ambassador for Walt Disney Imagineering will speak.
In the evening there will be a presentation of "IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth" that will feature a special 30th anniversary theme.
There will also be 30th anniversary merchandise available including t-shirts

- 1-2 p.m. - Designing the Future - Past and Present: A panel of Disney Imagineers remembers 30 years of building tomorrow!
- 4:30-6 p.m. - Epcot: How it Changed the World with Marty Sklar
- 6:30-8 p.m. - Epcot: How it Changed the World with Marty Sklar
