Here's the last part of the Travel Smart With The Ultimate Travel Packing List. You must enjoy the packing too, while looking forward to the much-awaited travel adventure ahead.
Pack Your Toiletry Bag
It is important to bear in mind the TSA's 3-1-1 rule. Liquids, gels, aerosols, creams and pastes must not exceed 3.4 ounces (100ml) per container and must be in clear zip lock bag. Make sure you have toothpaste, toothbrush, floss, mouthwash, hair brush or comb, hair ties, barrettes/bobby pins, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, sunscreen, makeup kit, face wash, makeup remover or wet tissue, moisturizer, lotion, lip balm and feminine hygiene or wipes inside your toiletry bag.
You may also bring cologne/perfume, shave kit, sewing kit, facial tissues if you still have extra space in your bag. Scissors, nail clippers, and tweezers must be in the checked in luggage, though if you want to bring them.
It is also a good idea to have first aid kit which includes bandages, gauze, and adhesives. Pain and fever relievers, colds and laxative medicines, lozenges and insect repellent are also good to have in your toiletry bag.
Pack Your Day Bag
It's good to be fashion conscious but if you're traveling and want to be comfortable moving from one place to another, a lightweight and versatile day bag is the best. You don't need to show it when you're taking photos anyway.
Consider Travel Security
Always be vigilant not to allow your bag or any personal belongings from being stolen. Keep your valuables secured and hidden. Awkward as it may seem, the "granny" style of putting money somewhere under your bra. Another option is having a passport/cardholder with RFID protection. This is to prevent identity theft and card frauds while you are traveling.
This should have covered all the basics. But then, it's up to you whether you want to bring something else. It's perfectly fine, just make sure you have the essentials in every trip and travel adventure.
