PlayStation Network continues its holiday week for deals with great discounts for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita consoles. There are quite a handful of games that are currently on sale on the PlayStation store, and some notable games are included.
According to Game Spot, the notable games are "Battlefield 1" ($40), "Dishonored 2"($40), "FIFA 17" ($30), "MLB The Show 16" ($12), "Resident Evil 4" ($10), "Resident Evil 5" ($10), "Resident Evil 6" ($10), "Skyrim Special Edition" ($40), "Street Fighter V" ($20), "Titanfall 2" ($30) and "The Witcher 3 Complete Edition" ($25). The mentioned games are for the PlayStation 4 console, and they will be on sale until January 3, 2017 at 8:00 AM PT.
Since, this is the last week of December we might expect an announcement soon from Sony for their January 2017's free PlayStation Plus games very soon. Last year, the line-up for PlayStation free games was released on the 30th of December, and if ever they follow the same pattern, it is possible that after 2 more days the gamers might find out the free games line up for January 2017.
In an earlier report from IGN, they revealed the PlayStation Plus free games line-up for this month. The free games is however limited to PlayStation plus subscribers only, which includes two cross buy titles for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita members. "Stories: The Path of Destinies" and "Invisible, Inc." both games can be downloaded by PlayStation Plus subscribers on PlayStation 4.
The video game "Stories: The Path of Destinies" was released worldwide for both Microsoft Windows and PlayStation 4 on the 12th of April 2016. On the other hand, "Invisible, Inc" was available for Early Access for Microsoft Windows and OS X on January 2014, and was also available for Linux in a later release. The game's full version was released worldwide on the 12th of March 2015, and a PlayStation 4 version was released on the 19th of April 2016. It has a version released for iOS devices on the 6th of October 2016.
