‘Pawn Stars’: Reasons Why Chum Lee Show Is One Of Top 2016 Trending Reality Shows

The Chum Lee "Pawn Stars" show is one of the top 2016 trending reality shows. Undeniably, the Austin Lee Russell arrest and eventual release on probation were one of the most talked about celebrity news in 2016. Along with every news; the reality show is also linked. The cheeky actor's name is deeply associated with the show because he has been famous for his role as the customer assistant/appraiser.

According to the Inquisitr, one reason why "Pawn Stars" topped the most searched reality shows was the controversial and shocking arrest of one of its favorite cast Chu Lee. He was charged with molestation of a woman employee of the Gold and Silver Pawnshop. While the authorities were searching his home for proof, contrabands were discovered at his home.

He was arrested and detained and was released after he paid $62,000 bail bond. His court battle ended and he was released on probation. His impending return on the show was most anticipated by fans. Even his social media account was deleted because of the influx of "RIP Chum Lee" messages. Now Chum Lee is back to his old life better and hopeful after all the trials.

Another reason was politics. Rick Harrison campaigned for Donald Trump. He is the son of Richard Harrison, the founder of the famous pawnshop and father of Corey Harrison, Chum Lee's childhood friend. Donald Trump Jr. and other celebrities' visit to the shot have made the public search for "Pawn Stars." Rick Harrison was invited to the Trump inauguration at the White House.

Another possible reason that "Pawn Stars" has been highly searched on Google this year is the Wayne's World car sold at the pawn shop. In one of the episodes of the show, Rick Harrison visited Florida and was able to personally see the 976 AMC Pacer on sale.

Former US President Abraham Lincoln's chair shown by spouses Jerry and Wanda Beverland on the show complete with documents drew a lot of interest too. The chair was the former president's favorite chair while in the White House.

The time Richard Harrison's tenants on his establishment near the pawnshop accused him of being a bad landlord also made fans of the show to search on Google. Chum Lee's charity works after his arrest were most searched after it was announced. Lately, his upcoming return on "Pawn Stars" keep the fans coming back to the show's website and social media account to know the updates.

San Diego Union-Tribune declared that the show is the best Las Vegas show. Despite other famous celebrities and performers appear on Las Vegas stage, the show was the best so far.

Chum Lee has informed his fans that he will be back on the show. The Harrisons have not changed his status on the show despite his arrest. In fact, Rick Harrison was the very first to show support to him during his court battle.

Indeed, Chum Lee's show "Pawn Stars" is one of the well-loved shows. It is one of its kinds and will be searched all the more in 2017 as he films for new episodes.
