'Fuller House' Season 3: Netflix Just Renewed The Show For A Third Season, Marla Sokoloff Open To Returning

Netflix has just renewed "Fuller House" for a third season, ensuring that fans will get to see more of the comedy series come 2017. Marla Sokoloff, who guest-starred in season 2, is open to coming back for the third season.

According to ABC News, "Fuller House" has just announced the continuation of the show via a Christmas Eve video. The shows' stars confirmed the renewal via their own Twitter accounts.

Candace Cameron Bure, who plays D.J. Tanner, said in her account that "Christmas came early!" While Jodie Sweetin, who plays Stephanie Tanner, thanked Netflix for the renewing the show and said it was "the best Christmas present of them all."

"Fuller House" premiered in February 2016 and its second season aired earlier in the month. Bure, Sweetin, and the other star Andrea Barber, who plays Kimmy Gibler, said in a recent interview that it wasn't hard to reprise their roles in the spin-off of "Full House."

Barber said that they were able to step into their roles "effortlessly," adding that "it's like time never passed." Bure said that doing this show is like "more of coming back" into their stage. And Sweeting adds it is a "once-in-a-lifetime moment" that they "get to do twice."

Bustle reports that Sokoloff, who plays Gia Mahan in the original "Full House," is open to coming back for the third season. "I would be more than happy to," she said.

Sokoloff reprised her role in an episode of "Fuller House" Season 2. She appeared in the spin-off as a full grown mom and was trying to convince Stephanie to try her new vice.

Sokoloff, though, is not expecting much, but she's ready in case they want her back. "Whatever they want to do, I'm here," she said.

In other news, Netflix also confirmed the season 2 of "Making A Murderer," a Netflix documentary series. This ensures the fans that they'll get one more season of the hit documentary series. Check out the show's stars singing "Jingle Bells."
