The former star of MTV's "16 and Pregnant" Valerie Fairman has died of drug overdose. This was claimed by the medics that took care of her corpse after she was not revived by her friend in Pennsylvania.
Fans and fellow reality stars were in disbelief and condoled with her bereaved family especially her 7-year-old daughter. After her death, TooFab was able to gather facts about the former reality star.
1. She started on the show "16 and Pregnant" in 2010. After her stint, she became invisible in the entertainment world. Her last public appearance was during the show's reunion. Her fans were worried what could have happened to the star.
2. She was reportedly arrested in 2011 for assaulting her adoptive mother. She allegedly punched and shoved her mother to the ground. She was arrested one year after she finished high school. She was detained at the Chester County Youth Center.
3. Fairman was called to testify for her adoptive brother in a trial for child molestation. He has been charged with multiple molestation cases. Her testimony was not determined whether it was for or against her brother.
4. On the same year, she was arrested again for giving police officers false identification and resisting arrest. She was released on bail.
5. "16 and Pregnant" Valerie Fairman was in five different rehabs within the 5 year-period. She has been into prescription drugs addiction in 2012 as confirmed by her mother.
6. In 2012, Fairman was arrested again for the crime of theft and for receiving stolen property as confirmed by the Pennsylvania's Magisterial District Courts.
7. After which, she was again arrested in Feb. 2015 in New Castle, Delaware for prostitution. She was allegedly walking the streets to peddle her body for cash.
8. Seven days before her death, she was arrested again. On Dec. 15, Fairman had a brush with the law for providing false identification to law enforcement officials and resisting arrest. She fled on foot but was captured by the police.
"16 and Pregnant" Valerie Fairman had a troubled life. At the young age of 23, she has been through a lot. Unfortunately, she was not able to bounce back and make good for the sake of her daughter. She died and the cause of her death is yet to be confirmed.
