In the latest 2017 calendar, there are as much as seven major celebrations which vary on months and locations, as well as its activities.

Moreover, Everfest adds three more "Best New Zealand Festivals," the "Wanderlust", Taupo (February 2-5), "Queenstown Winter Festival", Queenstown (June), and "Wairoa Maori Film Festival", Wairoa (June). These celebrations are more about showcasing the beauty of the country's diverse culture.
On the three "Best New Zealand Festivals", each of them attracts a lot of tourists because of the multicity people can enjoy. "Wanderlust" brings holistic growth on people who just want to relax. On the other hand, "Queenstown Winter Party" is all for snow displays, all can enjoy different winter activities in here. And, "Wairoa Film Fest" depicts the culture of Wairoas, it's more about cinematic works.
