Bar Rafaeli's Guide to Her Hometown Tel Aviv, Israel

Stunning model and Israel native, Bar Rafaeli recently spoke with Vanity Fair about her favorite spots in her home town, from local favorites to serene beaches.

To get a way from it all Rafaeli heads to the idyllic beach town of Tel Aviv, Israel. She said to Vanity Fair, "Since I travel so much, I go home when I need some time off to relax and recharge. Spending time with my family and friends is my favorite thing to do."

Her family lives in Tel Aviv and she enjoys spending time with her parents in their Tel Aviv abode. When the beauty is in the mood for a night out on the town, she heads to a bar called Otto and "a great bar/restaurant called Yasu, which is a Greek tavern. My friends and I go there often," she says.

For shopping, Rafaeli heads over to the designer stores on Dizengoff Street in the HaTachana area.

The model who is on the road constantly for work says her favorite thing to order for room service is fish and rice or a large salad with tuna. She says her favorite restaurant is her brother's restaurant Zinc. "They have delicious food! I usually go for their stir-fry vegetables and chicken."

Rafaeli's favorite best-kept secret about Israel are her secret beaches. She said "Israel is long and narrow, and the long part of it is mostly on the water. It is hard for me to go to the crowded beaches in Tel Aviv, but I have a few just 30 minutes away that are really private and calm."

To stay in shape on-the-go Rafaeli told Vanity Fair that if she doesn't have a gym she just enjoys the city and explores, mentioning that she walks around a lot anyways.

Her must have travel items include a bikini because, "I never know where I'll end up."
