A five-month-old's first, and most awkward, passport photo has gone viral. His father posted the hilarious and adorable photo online after the baby's first passport photo shoot and has garnered more than 800,000 views with more than 600 comments on the online community Reddit.com.
Joel, the father of the child who asked that his last name not be used for privacy reasons, posted the funny image of his 5 month old before he went to bed. When he woke up the next morning he " had friends from the U.K. saying congrats on making the front page of Reddit," he told NBC News.
The photo of his baby, with his mouth opened awkwardly and his eyes closed, looking half asleep has the caption, "My wife took our 5 month old son to get his first passport photos taken - NAILED IT!"
Joel said that the child got his passport photo taken because the family was exploring a possible job opportunity in South America and he couldn't resist sharing the funny photos with the world.
"The outtakes were just too funny to keep to ourselves," he said to NBC.
