Zsa-Zsa Gabor Passes Away At 99: Famous For Her Glamour And Nine Marriages, Including Paris Hilton's Grandfather

Legendary Hungarian actress and Beverly Hills socialite Zsa-Zsa Gabor, who became famous for both her glamor and multiple marriages to millionaires has passed away after suffering a heart attack at her Bel Air home. Her cause of death was heart failure and was later confirmed by her lifelong publicist Edward Lozzi, she was 99 years old. She is living with her ninth husband who she married in 1986, Frederic von Anhalt.

The first ever star who was "famous for being famous" and calls just about everyone she meets "dahlinks". She also became an entertainment icon despite having only a relatively modest Hollywood career. Her acting portfolio consists of 80 films and television shows where she often made cameos as herself. She made headlines for her numerous marriages throughout her career, which is nine.

She began her career after winning the title of Miss Hungary in 1936 and continued to go strong even throughout the 1990's. Her two sisters Eva and Magda were both famous for their own rights, but Zsa Zsa's fame outlasted theirs. She was the last living of the Gabor sisters as Eva and Magda died on 1995 and 1997, respectively.

The socialite has been dealing with a variety of health issues since 2002 when she got involved in a car accident that left her partially paralyzed. Her ninth husband hosted a party in their home to celebrate the actress' 99th birthday last February. However, Zsa-Zsa was said to be so ill that guests were not allowed to see her in her bedroom, according to a report from The New York Times.

Regarding her multiple marriages, Gabor once famously said: "a girl must marry for love, and keep on marrying until she finds it." One of her marriages, which most people don't even count was to a former Mexican actor which lasted only a day and was later annulled. TMZ reports, Gabor was married to Paris Hilton's grandfather, Conrad Hilton, from 1942-1947.
