Joining the ranks of celebrities being killed off by an internet hoax, Tony Danza is the latest victim.
The internet swirled Tuesday with rumors of the 60 year old, former "Who's the Boss" actor's untimely death.
Danza, was rumored to have fallen off a cliff in New Zealand. The article on the hoax website, Global Associated News stated, "Actor Tony Danza died while filming a movie in New Zealand early this morning - September 10, 2012. Preliminary reports from New Zealand Police officials indicate that the actor fell more than 60 feet to his death on the Kauri Cliffs while on-set. Specific details are not yet available.
The accident occurred at approximately 4:30 a.m."
Danza is not surprisingly so, alive and well.
The actor joins the ranks of another illustrious group of individuals who have all fall victim of the internet death hoax. Recents include, Morgan Freeman, Alfonso Ribeiro or "Carlton" from the show, "Fresh Prince of Bel Air," Eddie Murphy, Bill Cosby, Adam Sandler and others who have all been victim to the same silly hoax.
Danza, also starred on the tv show "Taxi" and has spent much of the past ten years touring his live act. Recently, Danza has taken on a challenging role of 10th grade English teacher last year at Philadelphia's Northeast High School. He is currently writing a book about his teaching experience and developing new tv projects.
