The changes for Clash of Clan's December Update has been released. Staying true to their design values, they released an update that has been positively received by the Clash of Clans community. The community has a reputation of outcries on update releases, but the Winter Update has been well received.
As previously mentioned here, Supercell has been teasing an update that would arrive before winter. Players have speculated an increase in building levels, or maybe buffs to units that are rarely used all with an equal level of excitement and enthusiasm.
Now that the year is close to an end, their update was made official Through their Twitter account in a form of a video. The video was from a Clash of Clans youtuber showing all the changes to be implemented.
Barbarian Kings can now be levelled to 45, as well as Archer Queens. Player's Clan Castles can reach level 7, while the Golem can be upgraded to level 6 and the Hog Rider can now reach up to level 7. The Poison Spell can wreak more havoc with its increased cap at level 5.
Supercell's developers were keen in doing these changes to increase the difference between Town Hall 10 and Town Hall 11 attacks. Buffs and tweaks were also done in this update.
Poison Spell now has an increased radius, Witches now have a damage and hit point increase. Balloons now attack sooner after reaching their target, while Dragon and P.E.K.K.A's attack speeds have been increased.
Two of the big changes are the Wizard Tower and the Wall. The Wizard Tower can now be upgraded to level 9 at Town Hall 10 and can now be upgraded to level 10 at Town Hall 11. The expensive level 11 Walls can now be upgraded to level 12, however there is a limit of 50 pieces adding a level of strategy.
