The wait is almost over the fans of the medical drama TV series "Code Black". The show went into a short hiatus after the airing of the second season's tenth episode titled "Ave Maria". With the show suffering from a decrease in their number of viewers, it could one of the reason why the people behind it thought of going into a short break at the moment.
Now on to the new episode. Episode eleven is set to be aired this December 21 and is titled "Exodus". The synopsis, via Spoilers Guide, circles around the team in Angels Memorials undergoing a code black as a city-wide blackout occurs affecting everyone including them since they do not have back-up generators.
It will definitely be an intense-filled episode knowing that lives are going to be in danger unless the team are able to think of a way out of the power crisis. Everything becomes chaotic in the hospital with Dr. Leanne Rorish (Marcia Gay Harden) and Dr. Will Campbell (Boris Kodjoe) transferring patients into a nearby facility with electricity.
Meanwhile, Elliot Dixon (Noah Gray-Cabey) and Dr. Heather Pinkney (Jillian Murray) will be faced with a difficult situation in the upcoming episode. The two will be trapped in an elevator with a pregnant woman that is due for labor. Will the two be able to fully do their duties with only the four walls of the elevator as their "equipment?"
In addition to that, Dr. Ethan Willis (Rob Lowe) and Dr. Amanda Nolan (Kathleen Rose Perkins) will also have their hands full with a 92-year old patient with dementia. In an article released by IBTimes, the said patient will exhibit odd behavior thinking that she is still in the 40s. Find out how the team handles it as CBS' "Code Black" airs December 21, 10 p.m. EST.
