With the exciting turn of events in "NCIS Los Angeles" Season 8, many fans are looking forward to the show despite cancellation rumors. Speculations about its cancellation started when a cast member left the show.
The health condition of actor Miguel Ferrer had been a concern for the show's fans. As for Daniela Ruah, she was on maternity break that is why she was not able to work at once. While Ruah is on leave, many are assuming that Ruah, who plays the role of Kensi Blye, might never return to "NCIS Los Angeles" after she gave birth on September.
But Ruah confirmed that she will actually be back to the show. Recently, she posted on Instagram while on the set confirming her return to the series despite rumors that she is out of the show for good. The photo was shared on the social networking site with a caption that says, "Official first day back."
Although Ruah is already back on set, some are still saying that she will eventually leave the show since she will no longer join the field with her partner Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen). It is said that she will just be back for a few episodes before her final exit, BitBag reported.
The maternity leave of Ruah gave advantages to the show since it allowed them to make some unexpected twists and revelations. These turns actually made the show even more exciting.
"We don't really write around them. We just accommodate them and sometimes you can use those positive life experiences as a way to build on," LL Cool J said according to EOnline. "It gives the writers something to build on and it gives them, actually, inspiration to take the whole season to another level. So, I think it kind of works out for the best."
On the other hand, fans of the show expressed their concern for Ferrer who seemed to have a sudden change in voice and he became thinner. It is said that he is absent from the show due to stroke.
Aside from stroke, there are also some reports that Ferrer is suffering from cancer especially that his parents both died due to cancer. As of this writing, there isn't any news yet about the health condition of Ferrer.
Since Ferrer and Ruah are rumored to depart from the show, it may lead to the cancellation of "NCIS Los Angeles" Season 8. Do you think that the series will indeed be cancelled?
