America's Favorite Travel Products And Brands: From Cameras to Luggage

When going on a trip, there are certain things that travelers should always pack. However choosing the perfect travel gear can be a hard decision. TripAdvisor, the world's largest travel site has released a list of the top travel essentials from luggage to cameras to e-readers and more.

The list of favorite travel essentials are a part of TripAdvisor's Travelers' Choice Awards for Travel Favorites. The winners are chosen based on votes of thousands of travelers from the U.S. and around the world. The products chosen include 15 categories and include travel brands and products from the U.S., U.K., France, Italy and Spain.

"We asked the world's largest travel community to tell us what they simply can't travel without, and so our Travelers' Choice Awards for Travel Favorites were born. The valuable feedback from our vast community has enabled us to recognize these favorite brands and we're delighted to award the winners with the prestigious TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice seal of approval," said Barbara Messing, chief marketing officer for TripAdvisor.

Here is a list of the favorite travel essentials that were chosen in the survey by U.S. Travelers.

TripAdvisor spoke about the top travel guide, Lonely Planet, which was chosen as a top guide by the U.S., the U.K, Italy and Spain.
