App That Allows Tourists to Chat, Inquire Spots With A Bot Launches In Singapore

If you happen to be in Singapore and have a lot of questions, download Trabble, a chatbot travel e-concierge that started to undertake travelers' needs. The app provides curated travel information for those visiting the country.

In an article of Thinking to Travel, Trabble was created to provide solutions due to the increasing demand of information and front desk operations as well as self-check in automation. The app came about as a specialized mobile concierge service to provide a one-stop travel solution for savvy travelers who want quick access to recommendations and services on the go.

In the app, there are four giraffes with different personalities. Jett Gomez is Trabbles' culture geek, who will guide you to your edutainment destinations like museums. Ice Khoo considers himself as super chill "and loves to wander quaint streets hoping to chance upon homegrown gigs 'n' flees and hidden bars."

For first time travelers, Hunter Faz will likely be your guide as he guides you along to the most iconic destinations in Singapore. Then there's Miles Khan, who is for the business traveler. "Who says work trips can't be fun?" he says.

The app is available in Google Play Store and Apple Store and is free to use. One limitation is that you need the internet to chat with your personalities. Currently, Trabble is working on adding offline features in the future to further enhance the elements.

One thing to take note is for you to turn your GPS on for the bots to locate your current destination. GPS doesn't require you an internet connection but will work greatly when you're in the outdoors.

According to the company, they are available only to Singapore users and will be expanding to Tokyo and other cities by 2017.
