When celebrities go on vacation, they typically go to get away from work, the media and fans, so some develop fake names for when they check into hotels or rent car services. While the Kardashians aren't ones that seem to go out their way to avoid the spotlight, even on vacation, they too have aliases that they use while traveling.
The New York Post reports that the Kardashian ladies each have their own fake name that they use while traveling and they're pretty funny.
Kim Kardashian uses the name Ava Tar, which may possibly based on the 2009 blockbuster hit movie. In earlier reports, Kim used to check in using the name Princess Jasmine.
Khloe goes by the name Joe Dash, which may be a combination of the first name of husband Lamar Odom's father Joe Odom and the name of clothing store that the sister own in Miami and New York City.
Kourtney Kardashian, who recently gave birth to daughter, Penelope, goes by the name of Betty White. Playing off of this, Kris Jenner, the Kardashian mom, uses the name Snow White.
"These are the Kardashians' names for hotels, car services, etc," a source tells the Post. "I am sure this is what they will be checking in as if they come to New York for Fashion Week."
The Kardashians aren't the only celebrities to use aliases for checking in to hotels. Justin Bieber, who is constantly followed by the media and fans, uses the name of the "Friends" character Chandler Bing when checking into hotels.
Being an odd character, actor Johnny Depp has used several odd names including Mr. Drip Noodle, Mr. Stench, and Mr. Oddpong.
Kate Beckinsale goes by Sigourney Beaver. When Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston were together, they would use Mr. and Mrs. Ross Vegas.
George Clooney used Arnold Schwarzenegger because he enjoyed the reactions of hotel employees. NBA star Charles Barkley goes by Homer Simpson. The prince of darkness Ozzy Osbourne goes by Prince Albert. Marilyn Monroe would use the name Zelda Zonk to avoid the press when checking in.
