Wedding bells are loudly ringing this year as Troian Bellisario and Patrick J. Adams are officially husband and wife in a romantic outdoor beach ceremony just this Saturday. But with all the stars who graced the wedding, Meghan Clark is a no-show.
"Pretty Little Liars" Troian Bellisario and "Suits" Patrick J. Adams said their I dos in a Rustic-style wedding in Santa Barbara, CA last Saturday, Dec. 10. The couple were surrounded by their family and friends, which includes " Pretty Little Liars" Keegan Allen, "Suits" Sarah Rafferty, "Star Trek" Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto and also "Scandal" Katie Lowes. But according to US Weekly, Adams' on-screen finance Rachel Zane, played by Meghan Markle, did not attend the event.
Though sources said that Clarke was invited to Bellisario and Adams's three-day wedding celebration, she opted to skip the entire event. She did not want her recent media attention to overshadow the newly wed's day. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were both in media's target because of their recently publicized relationship.
The media attention does not seem to fade away soon as they are still hounded by paparazzi and photographers wherever they go. They were lately in the papers when Prince Harry visited Meghan in Toronto after 14-day Caribbean tour to spend some quality time before the Prince's trip back to UK. With all the media ruckus, the "Suits" star decided to skip her on-screen finance's wedding.
According to US Weekly, Markle talked to Adams and though it both though it sucked, they agreed that her attending the wedding would probably attract the wrong kind of attention. However, "Meghan had no plans to attend the wedding, and that conversation never happened," said a source close to the new Mr. and Mrs. Adams.
Even though Meghan Clark did not attend Bellisario and Adam's wedding, everything went beautiful. The camping-themed soirée that lasted from Dec. 9 to Dec. 11 were full of laughter and happy tears. Instead of wedding gifts, the newlyweds encouraged their guests to donate to the David Suzuki Foundation and SickKids Hospital.
