Backstreet's back alright. The 90's boy band, the Backstreet Boys reunited on "Good Morning America" to perform in their summer concert series in Central Park and to make a big announcement. The Backstreet Boys, with all five members reunited, will be taking a cruise in 2013 and their fans are invited.
With Kevin Richardson returning to the band after leaving in 2006, all five of the Backstreet Boys, including Brian Littrell, AJ Mclean, Nick Carter and Howie Dorough, are finally back together and they're ready for a big year.
"Well, 2013 is going to be a big year for us. It's our 20th anniversary," said Richardson. "We're in the studio right now working on an album. So we are going to have that ready, hopefully, for the beginning of next year."
The Boys have been living in London recording their new album with all five members, but that isn't the only big news that had to share.
"Next year, just so you guys know, there will be a BSB cruise next year, in October, with all five," McClean announced.
This won't be the first time the Backstreet Boys have taken a cruise. There have been two other Backstreet Boys cruises, but this will be the first one that features all five members as they celebrate their 20th anniversary.
The cruise is being hosted by Rose Tours. It will take place on Carnival's Imagination and sail from Miami from October 25-28 2013. Fans will get to spend three days on board the ship with all five boys and sail to the Bahamas. There will even be a private island beach party with the boys.
Those who have sailed on previous Backstreet Boys cruises and those who belong to the fan club will be able to make their reservations during a presale starting on October 3rd at 12:00PM EST. All others who are interested can make reservations through the General sale starting on October 4th at 12:00PM EST.
Prices per person start at $699 for a double inside cabin and range up to $4,000 for an ocean view penthouse suite. The prices include accommodations, meals, snacks, coffee, tea, and juices, a one-hour open bar, room service, and use of ship facilities including two Pools, whirlpools, fitness center, casino, library, duty-free shopping and events. Of course the fans will get to see The Backstreet Boys all throughout the trip.
The prices do not include taxes and fees, which are an extra $249 per person.
