'Pokémon Sun And Moon' News: Players Can Catch Magearna For Free! Download Using This QR Code

Magearna, the artificial Pokémon who made her debut in the film "The Volcanic and Mechanical Marvel" is now available for download in Pokémon Sun and Moon via a special QR code that has just been released worldwide. The aforementioned movie is now premiering in the West and the "Sun and Moon" anime is now showing on Disney XD, players can now obtain this brand new Pokémon in-game.

However, you will need to meet a couple of requirements before adding Magearna to the list of Pokémon. First off is to complete the game and become a Champion. Once these two conditions have been met, players should head over Hau'oli City. From there, head over to the Antiquities of the Ages where the deliveryman will be waiting. If done right, Magearna will be added on the pokedex.

It might seem like a bit of a grind having to complete the game and work to becoming a Champion just to get Magearna, but she will be worth all of that hard work and effort. She is one of the most potent Pokémon in the game. She starts off at level 50 and has some pretty interesting skills, such as Helping Hand, Fleur Cannon, Lucky Chant, and Flash Cannon. She also has the Soul Heart ability, which helps raise your special attack stats every time a Pokémon goes down in battle.

According to a report from Forbes, Magearna will already have a special item in her possession when captured, which is a Silver Bottle Cap. This item can be used during Hyper Training to boost up the Pokémon's' stats.

Having elements from the anime included in the game is nothing new in the Pokémon universe, but the fact that Nintendo still continues to support this kind of initiative is great to see. Players can get the QR code by watching the movie on Pokemon.com for free. The code required to download Magearna can be seen at the very end of the movie. You can simply skip the movie to get to the screen where the code is being displayed.
