In a news report, Lennard Otto, the CEO of the IMG Worlds, was quoted as saying, "Dubai is a growing market and a new segment for entertainment." He furtDbher added that, "Today the region is void of quality entertainment, and a lot of people actually travel out of the Middle East to be able to experience theme parks of this scale."
IMG is building the World Legends theme park on a two million square feet space with a plan of incorporating various rides and attractions featuring cartoons such as Sponge Bob Square Pants, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Nickelodeon and many more. Moreover, this park will house restaurants, stores and other forms of entertainment. Furthermore, the IMG is adding walkways, parks, and bridges for easy access to the leisure zones.
Emirates New reported that the owners are committed to fulfil the goal of the His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum to attract 20 million tourists to the country by 2020.
In less than 5 years, Dubai will add another wonder to the world with the addition of the World Legends in the theme parks industry. Many families and children will definitely delight in this massive world of fun and entertainment.
