Republican National Convention 2012: Complete GOP Convention Schedule After Hurricane Isaac Delay

The Republican National Convention was postponed after Hurricane Isaac threatened and passed the southern tip of Florida and through the Gulf of Mexico. As a result, the GOP Convention schedule had to be altered slightly to make up for lost time.

On Monday, Aug. 27, the convention was set to start in Tampa, Florida, however all events were cancelled almost immediately after it began.Officials were concerned about the threat of Hurricane Isaac as it swirled around the Gulf. The storm also affected the travel plans of some delegates who were trying to get to the event.

However the show must go on. Many of the speeches and events were crammed into Tuesday and other speeches have also been moved for the week. Some major changed include Gov. Nikki Haley's speech being moved to Tuesday night, former Arksansas Gov. Mike Huackabee's speech being moved to Wednesday night and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush's speech being moved to Thursday night.

GOP officials were considering extending the convention to Friday, instead of the originally planned Thursday, Aug. 30 end date, however the convention is still set to end on Thursday night as planned. This could change if the weather becomes a threat once again. As of now, Hurricane Isaac is making landfall on Louisiana and Mississippi.

Some speakers, who weren't considered to be headliners, were let go from the lineup and some speeches are being cut short to make up for lost time.

Here is the complete revised schedule of the GOP Convention.
