Dr. Phil, whose full name is Dr. Phil McGraw, was having some car trouble with his 1957 Chevy. After the car wouldn't start, Dr. Phil tried to work on the transmission with a friend. After unsuccessful attempts, he had it sent to a repair shop in Burbank, Calif., according to TMZ.
Dr. Phil, 61, was waiting for a call, letting him know that his precious vehicle was ready to be picked up, but instead he got a call that no car lover ever wants to hear. His car had been stolen.
Police are investigating the theft of the classic car with an estimated cost of $100,000. In an early investigation, police found that the thieves broke a roll-up door to the shop and drove away with the pricey vintage vehicle.
