Naomi Campbell's Turkish Island House Built as an Eco-Mansion in the Shape of 'Eye of Horus'

Naomi Campbell is in the process of building a eco-mansion in Turkey. The luxurious resort is shaped like the Egyptian symbol, the "Eye of Horus" and is on an island off the coast of Turkey.

The incredible home for the supermodel is designed by renowned Spanish architect Luis de Garrido and will feature a landscaped terrace and greenhouse style roof that will provide the heating for the mammoth mansion.

Inhabit.com said about the dynamic and gorgeous space, "Everything about this concept house is a dream: its comfortable microclimate, its constant flow of air, light and heat when necessary, its superior landscaping, and of course the fact that it was built on the Isla Playa de Cleopatra in Turkey."

The mansion will be a glass domed building on the island of Isla Playa de Cleopatra and will be water and energy self sufficient.

With 25 bedrooms, the gossip is that Campbell's Russian billionaire boyfriend, Vladimir Doronin has given it to her as a gift for her 41st birthday, according to many online reports.

The dome is framed with steel and has glazed glass panels over it that allow in sunlight all year with a greenhouse effect. The landscaping ensures that the heat isn't overpowering during the summer.

It will also be complete with photovoltaic panels which will create the shape of the Eye of Horus and a geothermal system provides energy for the entire place. With an on-site biological system that treats waste water, rainwater will be harvested.

A representative of architect Luis de Garrido's firm said to Yahoo! Homes that the structure is "not an expensive house, compared with the level of this kind of house. That is, we can demonstrate that a completely sustainable building [might] be really inexpensive, and also that a self-sufficient building could be obtained by a not too much additional cost (due to a well-studied bioclimatic design)."
