Exciting news for all "The Walking Dead" fans! Steven Yeun, the actor who played Glenn in the highly popular TV show, recently got married to his longtime girlfriend, professional photographer Joana Pak, in Los Angeles last December 3.
The close-knitted ceremony was held at the Paramour Estate and was attended by family and friends. The wedding was also a star-studded event since some of Yeun's co-stars were also there to offer their congratulatory wishes, like Norman Reedus, Andrew Lincoln, Melissa McBride, Sarah Wayne Callies and Chandler Riggs.
Pictured from the wedding were circulated online via Instagram, shared by Joana Pak's sister, Kayce. Flowing messages of congratulations were since then posted on Yeun's twitter account, with fans cheering on this latest news.
Kayce Pak captioned the picture on Instagram saying: "Getting to celebrate the love between these two, last night, along with all their friends and family was so beautiful and special!! This whole week has been an awesome, family-filled, fun time and it's been so great! (We've also gained a brother in-law from it!) #loveyouguys #pakpack."
Family member Ray Anne Chung also posted a photo of the wedding on Instagram, this time she snapped the couple's kiss on the altar. In the caption, she wrote, "So much love and joy in one space. Love you Jo and Steven".
Yeun was a recurring cast member in The Walking Dead until season 6. On the premiere of season 7 however, his character was killed by Negan, played by actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan, by sustaining a brutal blow to the head which almost made his eyes pop out. Glenn's grisly death in this episode was particularly shocking for the show's viewers since Glenn was one of the most-loved characters in the show.
Nevertheless, fans are still looking forward to whatever project Steven takes on, even after his stint on TWD has ended. But for now, it's apparent that Steven will focus on his married life first; I wonder where they'll go on their honeymoon?
