Hurricane Isaac 2012 Forecast: National Hurricane Center Maps and Predictions, Haiti, Cuba, Florida in Danger [PHOTOS]

Hurricane Isaac's projected path will reach Florida as early as Sunday according to a tracking report issued today by numerous weather news agencies. The tropical storm is projected to pass over Haiti on Friday and reach the southern area of Florida as a hurricane on Sunday.

Tropical storm Isaac is said to pass through the Dominican republic and Haiti on Friday and as it passes over Hispaniola, an island, it will increase. By Friday, after remaining as a tropical storm for days, Isaac is said to increase into a full blown hurricane.

On Friday and Saturday Isaac will go through Cuba worrying people in the area. Already, pre-trial hearings set at the U.S. base in Guantanamo bay have been canceled and hundreds of people have been evacuated from Cuba because of Isaac's predicted arrival.

Friday's concerns remain for Haiti as only two years ago the country was devastated with a deadly earthquake that left millions without homes. To date, nearly half a million residents live in a tarp city, which could be extremely dangerous when Isaac passes through. Prime Minister, Laurent Lamonthe has advised citizens and helped create evacuation facilities.

Tampa, Florida is a place for concern as Issac passes through Sunday. The Republican National Convention which was scheduled to start Monday is now on in limbo waiting in the wake of the impact of the hurricane in Florida.

What is troublesome is that there is no way to exactly know if or where Isaac will hit the U.S. and how strong it will be. Even just heavy rains could cause flight cancelations and cause complications with the convention.
