The historical park of Kfar Kedem in Israel has started to go modern with the use of WiFi on their donkeys.
Visitors at the park wear biblical robes and headdresses and ride donkeys through the hills of Galiliee while learning about how people lived druing the Old Testament times.
With the new outfitted Wifi on donkeys that are slung around the animal's necks, people can now use the internet while learning about the Old Testament times.
Kfar Kedem's website states, "In the lush hill country of the Galilee, in view of Nazareth and a stone's throw from Sepphoris, Kfar Kedem recreates the day-to-day life of this ancient land ... Ride the rolling hills as Abraham rode them. Take in the scents that Jacob smelled tending Laban's flocks. Hear the words of the prophets as you thresh grain, press oil from fresh olives and wine from fresh grapes. You'll even dress like Them!"
Menachem Goldber, The park's manager said to The Associated Press that they hope that the use of Wifi will allow the younger generation to enjoy the ancient life while using social networks to share their experience to friends. He said, "You take some pictures, you want to change your picture on Facebook - you can do it."
Individuals can bring their Ipads or use their smart phones and connect to the web for free while riding donkeys.
The Wifi donkey tour is a new addition but people seem to really be enjoying it. Peter Scherr who was visiting with his family in New York said to The Associated Press, "I don't miss any news. send pictures back to my family while I'm having fun on the donkeys."
