Regardless if you feel like reminiscing about your family like that kid in "Home Alone" or not, you are certain to feel the winter magic once you witness that 78-foot tall Christmas tree light up.

Christmas holiday season is never complete without some window shopping. But NYC offers a different kind of shopping with its Holiday Windows. This is the kind of window shopping that both the adults and kids would love. Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's, and other department stores in NYC presents a whole new world behind a store glass. It is a world full of festivity, fun, and magic that will leave viewers enthralled. Enchanting window displays at Saks this year is themed "Land of 1000 Delight" and lights up at 5 to 11pm every ten minutes until Jan 2.

Among all the things to do in NYC this December, Bryant Park Winter Village is something that you should not miss. Aside from the hundreds of shopping and food options, it has a 7,000-square-foot ice-skating rink. If you are looking for a place to spend with your family on weekends or if you just want to take a spin on the ice while under the stars, this Winter Village is the perfect spot. You can bring your own skates or you can rent one for only $20. Skating hours are 8am to 10pm every day through Mar. 5, 2017.
