According to the makers of Honest Tea, Salt Lake City and Oakland are amongst the most honest cities in America. The tea makers set up unstaffed stand in cities around the U.S. The stands had bottles of Honest tea, underpriced at $1 and jars that people could put money in when they took a tea.
Though the results may not be very scientific, it does show interesting statistics on what cities might be more honest than other. The findings found that Oakland, CA and Salt Lake City were the most honest, with 100 percent of people paying for their tea. Brooklyn was at the very bottom of the list with only 61 percent of people paying for their teas. Los Angeles ranked low on honesty as well with 79 percent paying for tea.
The "National Honesty Index" survey was conducted in 50 different locations and monitored by undercover workers in, everywhere from San Francisco, which was 97 percent honest to Las Vegas, which was 95 percent honest.
Last year's winner was Chicago with 99 percent, but it didn't even make it on the top ten this year.
