Marriott International is planning to mark more territories around the world especially in Asia. Due to the increasing number of tourists in Asian countries, more and more hotels and resorts are now opening in Asia. Marriott International, a Maryland, USA based lodging company is expected to expand their properties in Asia with four more hotels.
The said four hotels will be under Marriott International's independent hotels portfolio known as the Autograph Collection Hotels. The Autograph Collection has already established four existing hotels in Asia particularly in Bali, Tokyo, Seoul and Sydney. The company desires to double their current properties in Asia this 2017. According to Marriott International's Vice President of Brand Marketing for Asia Pacific, Mike Fulkerson, "We are thrilled to have this vital opportunity to continue growing Autograph Collection's brand presence in Asia." He also added: "The exponential amount of growth in the region over the last few years, particularly in China, offers rich development opportunities for the brand, and we believe these four properties will open even more doors for the collection."
According to the reports of Hsyndicate and Travel Daily Media, the four expected properties to be established by the brand is said to be located in China, Kuala Lumpur and Seoul. The names of these properties will be The Shanhaitian Resort Sanya in China, The Majestic Hotel and Hotel Stripes in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia and RYSE in Seoul, South Korea.
Marriott International aims to provide tourists and travelers a different experience through the service they will be providing in their Autograph Collection. As expressed by Julius Robinson, the Vice President and Global Lead of the Autograph Collection Hotels, "We are delighted to debut four exactly like nothing else properties in exotic new locations that both deliver on this demand and shine a light on our brand's commitment to offering differentiated guest experiences at one-of-a-kind hotels around the world."
