The Park Plaza Hotel Group London will open two hotel properties which are located at Waterloo and Park Royal. Along with these, Park Plaza also saw to the renovations and expansion of Park Plaza Riverbank. Once these projects are completed, London hotel rooms of Park Plaza are expected to increase to 800. It is also expected to provide 300 jobs for the hotel industry.
President Boris Isheva said that these expansions and added properties will have their soft opening on the final quarter of 2016. The Park Plaza hotel Group is doing well in revenue and has delivered satisfactory performance throughout the year.
"We are pleased to report a good performance during the third quarter, with reported revenue increasing across all our operating regions. Based on our results to September and the outlook for the final quarter, the board anticipates the full year results to be in line with its current expectations," Isheva stated.
The Park Plaza Hotel in Waterloo will be located at South Bank and will be the first hotel to open, according to BreakingTravelnews. It offers 494 contemporary rooms, a restaurant and bar, café, spa and a gym with swimming pool. CitMagazine provided a visual of the rooms in these pictures.
It will then be followed by the Park Plaza London Park Royal, a 212 room property, which is located near Wembley. This strategic location provides roof and comfort for tourists and locals that are traveling to Picadilly Line, Picadilly Circus, and London Heathrow Airport. It also offers a restaurant and bar, a gym, meeting rooms, and parking spaces.
The Riverbank renovations added six floors and 155 new bedrooms which will give tenants magnificent view of the skyline. This expansion also developed the property's pipeline connection.
