The Royal family in Britain has somewhat of a legendary status amongst natives and the classy clan of royalty lives up to their status by only staying in true luxury when traveling. While touring the globe the royals stay in some beautiful abodes, literally fit for a Queen, including The St. Regis in Washington DC and The Waldorf Astoria in New York.

Half Moon, Jamaica

The resort that has been open since 1954 has welcomed the stays of Queen Elizabeth II, Prince Phillip, and Princess Margaret. The beautiful resort is situated on a crescent beach and known for its luxurious setting and state of the art amenities. There is even an Equestrian Center ready for the royals.

Waldorf Astoria, New York City

Iconic, beautiful Waldorf Astoria in the pulsating heart of New York City. The hotel is well-known to be one of the best hotels in New York and has a rich and vibrant history within its luxurious walls. Queen Elizabeth and the Queen Mother visited in 1954 and Queen Elizabeth stayed there again in 1957.

St. Regis, Washington D.C.

Queen Elizabeth II has stayed in this stunning hotel that includes on call butlers available 24/7. Every night at the hotel there is a "Champagne Sabering Ritual" where a server makes an announcement and then pops the cork of champagne and everyone gets a glass.

The Fairmont Royal York, Toronto

Queen Elizabeth's and Prince Phillips portrait hang in the lobby of this gorgeous hotel that opened its doors in 1929. The two story space has a hand painted ceiling with crystal chandeliers and has amenities ideal for a British clientele. Everything from the quintescential afternoon teal service to an on-site spa and even a rooftop herb garden which grows vegetables herbs and cultivates honey used in the hotel's gourmet restaurant.
