Hotels Are Offering Juice Cleanses and Themed Vacations

With juicing being all the rage now a days, hotels are capitalizing in on the juicing craze and having juicing themed vacations and juicing bars for their guests.

The Standard Spa is now offering a juice program that include three and five day packages. Both include spa treatments, daily supply of juices and coaching workshops. Mina Gough, the spa director of The Standard Spa in Miami Beach, Florida said to ABC News, "If you feel stressed out, fatigued, and sickly, or if you are always thirsty and eating uncontrollably, guess what? Your body needs a vacation ... And that's precisely what a juice cleanse is for."

At the new resort and spa, Travaasa Austin, they offer classes in juicing called Juicing 2.0.

The Shore Hotel in Santa Monica, California is another hotel capitalizing on the health trend. With their bikini jump start package, it includes a one-day cleanse with juices that are from the local Pressed Juicery. The Four Seasons, The Biltmore also has an organic juice bar called Fins where guests can create their own juices.

With juices being a mainstay in gyms around the country for quite some time, hotels are just recently offering the healthy option for travelers. "Juice bars have been a mainstay in gyms throughout the U.S., and with hotels offering juice bar options it's letting clients stay on a healthy path even if they don't have time to spend in the gym while they travel," said Linden Schaffer, director of Pravassa, a travel company site that organizes wellness-based vacations to ABC New.
