'Criminal Minds' Season 12 Episode 6 Spoilers: BAU Investigates The Case Of Three Kids That Goes Missing In 'Elliot's Pond'

What a time to be alive! CBS' police procedural TV series "Criminal Minds" just keeps upping their game with next week's episode. Titled "Elliot's Pond", fans will have something to look forward to on November 16 because it is directed by Matthew Gray Gubler and if you've seen past episodes he directed as well, then you know that the upcoming episode is going to be good too.

The synopsis released on Spoiler TV reads:"Elliott's Pond" - When three children disappear while riding their bikes on the same path as a similar unsolved disappearance 30 years ago, the BAU team comes in to investigate." The BAU (Behavioral Analysis Unit) will be investigating the case of the missing children and will come across the same unsolved case that happened over three decades ago. According to an article by the CarterMatt, the case has something to do with an asylum. In the promo video released by CBS, it is shown that asylums who were burned through the ground are then taken over by the inmates and run them themselves.

In one of the scenes, a body is seen lying on the ground and whether he is still alive or not is still unknown. This unknown child may be one of the missing kids and he might be inside the said asylum. With the team solving the case, they have to open up the 3-year-old unsolved case and be able to find a connection. Maybe this time, the unsolved case can now be put to close as well. This is clearly going to be an exciting and interesting case that Gubler even posted a picture in his Instagram account with the caption: "directing my 10th episode of "Criminal Minds". It's called "elliot's pond" and it's going to spook your socks off." "Criminal Minds" airs Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 9 p.m. EDT on CBS.
