'Game Of Thrones' Author,George R.R. Martin, On The 2016 Election: 'Winter Is Coming. I Told You So'

George R.R. Martin , author of the book series that inspired Game of Thrones, post a more ambiguous take of the 2016 Election in his LiveJournal page. Afterwhich, he vents out his feelings about the uncertain era of American electorate on Tuesday.

In his post , according to Spin site implying his metaphor quite simply: "Winter is coming. I told you so." Martin expressed his shock at the true nature of his country: "America has spoken. I really thought we were better than this. Guess not." In Westeros and all the more civilized land was in Game of Thrones were not prepared of what lies ahead beyond the wall. Within the US, many were not prepared for a unified threat coming form an unfamiliar lands.

Earlier, the author appears to be taking a break from writing two of the remaining books in his acclaimed series, A song of Ice ad Fire adapted for TV as GOT. He claimed that no presidential candidate has been more unfit to lead this nation than Donald Trump before joining Hillary Clinton's campaign in New Mexico. This was partly driven by the fear that Martin's native New Mexico, which has been solidly blue for this cycle, suddenly began to wobble.

According to Telegraph site, Martin's post explained how two camps aired their adverts. It reads: Trump's ads against Hillary [...] are made of assertion, innuendo, and name-calling, but there's no substance to them."Meanwhile, "Clinton's ads just show Trump being Trump. You don't need to like Hillary. You don't need to listen to what Hillary says about Trump, or what I say about Trump. You just need to listen to Trump. If you can do that, and still consider voting for him... well..." It seems that Martin has indeed strong words for Trump. But America chose on Tuesday, Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United States.
