The bow-and-arrow-wielding hero Oliver Queen will be busier than ever in this week's episode of The CW's hit TV series "Arrow." Now on its fifth season, "Arrow" returned with a bang with its recent episodes as it was able to compensate for the low ratings brought about by the past two seasons. Episode six titled "So It Begins" will show Oliver Queen (Stephen Amell) as he tries to uncover vital secrets about his nemesis.
The synopsis released by ComicBookMovie reads: "When Prometheus ups his killing spree, Oliver searches for connections between the victims. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) and Curtis (Echo Kellum) discover the victims have a mysterious link to Oliver's past and this new secret could upend his new team. Meanwhile, Thea (Willa Holland) has a heart-to-heart with Lance (Paul Blackthorne), and Felicity considers telling Malone (guest star Tyler Ritter) the truth about her work."
This season's villain who will wreck havoc in Starling City is Prometheus, whose identity is still unknown until now. He too has been busy with his killing spree and the Green Arrow is trying his best to stop the villain. On the other hand, his teammates Felicity and Curtis will uncover a connection between Prometheus' victims and Oliver's past and this might affect the team's still shaky relationship. Speaking of Oliver's past, showrunner Wendy Mericle, in an interview with TVLine, shared that there will be flashbacks which is set to be in Russia. He said, "In exploring Oliver's history with the infamous Bratva crime syndicate, "We really wanted to go gritty, dark, and make it feel very real."
Meanwhile, fans' hopes of Oliver and Felicity getting back together are squashed when Felicity is still in a relationship with her current boyfriend Malone (Tyler Ritter). However, Malone is still clueless about Felicity's alter ego (Overwatch) and Felicity is still debating on whether she should tell her boyfriend or not. Want to know what happens next?
